A close friend of Charlie Sheen has spoken out to clarify rumours that the actor does not run his own Twitter account.Sheen joined the social networking site at the beginning of this month, and has since reached over 2.6 million followers. However, it has been reported that Sheen has been using a 'tweet master' to help come up with his messages.
Friend Robert Maron has denied claims that he is responsible for Sheen's Twitter posts, insisting that he simply helped the actor set up his account.
"I am simply a friend who introduced him to a company who helped him set up a Twitter account," Maron told E! News. "I am not his manager, tweet master, or adviser of any kind.
"It would be unfair for me to take credit for any of this or any other of his other significant accomplishments," Maron added.
Maron can reportedly be seen in one of the recent 'Sheen's Korner' webcasts that the actor has begun airing from his home.
